I was little when Thriller happened 7 and 8 years old. His health - physical, mental and emotional - had improved. Maybe he had an injection here or there, but no surgery. Whenever he came back from Bahrain - say for James Brown funeral or at the 2006 World Music Awards or those appearances in Japan - he looked like a different man. I mean, it was an absolute trainwreck at times. He looked high or drunk in public more than once including a nationally televised interview.

He had the whole Bashir thing, then the Arvizo charges happened in 2003 with the trial in 2005. He was quietly getting treatment for Demerol addiction. “Invincible” debacle followed by Sony fiasco. The times I think of him as not being very good-looking were 2001-2005. LOOK AT HIM! Tell me what you think about this, I really wanna see if I'm the only one with this opinion. There's nothing wrong with a couple of plastic surgeries to change some things you don't like about yourself and make you more confident. He was an average looking guy before all the surgery, he wasn't the most handsome man ever, but he was definitely not ugly. Yeah, I think at some point he was very attractive. Jackson is amused but his girlfriend is disturbed enough to walk out. “Go away!!!”īut wait - it was all just a scary movie.

Everything is going swell for Jackson and his girl (the ring makes it official), but their happiness is cut short with the appearance of a full moon, when we learn Jackson is “not like other guys” - and we believe him when one heck of a transformation takes place.
Glad we got that out of the way! Fifteen seconds in, the tone is set with a spooky title card and the sound of wind rustling and heavy breathing in the background. The John Landis-directed video opens with a disclaimer stating that by creating the music video, Jackson in no way endorsed supernatural practices - which includes the belief that humans could ever transform into werewolves.
